Classes begin on Monday, March 26 at Joe’s Movement Emporium. Beginner class starts at 7PM (but doors open at 6PM for registration and free dancing). Click here to fill out a copy of the Student Registration Form to bring with you to class.

Smooth & Ez Class Pricing

Effective January 2009 SEZ dance class tuition will be $10 per class for all new students. However there are payment plans available to help defray some of the cost. Current and graduate students will continue to pay $8 per class. Unless you are taking advantage of Payment Plan “A”, the (one-time) Registration Fee is $10. Each course is two days per week, 12 weeks at $10 per class, totaling $240 (not including the registration fee).

Advance Payment Plans

Payment Plan “A” – full tuition payment (12 weeks) – $197

Advance payment of tuition in full; 12 weeks at $8 per class or $192 plus a $5 registration fee for a total of tuition and fees of $197. Savings of $48
Payment can be made by check or money order

Payment Plan “B” – 6 week advance payment – $216

Advance payment for ½ the tuition; 6 weeks at $9 per class or two payments of $108 for a total tuition of $216. Savings of $24
Second payment is due by the end of the 5th week of class
No rollover for missed classes

Payment Plan “C” – 4 week advance payment – $228

Advance payment for; 4 weeks at $9.50 per class or three payments of $76 for a total $228. Savings $12
Payments due the first class of the month
No rollover for missed classes

Payment Plan “D” – pay as you go

Payment per class of $10 for 12 weeks for a total of $240
We apologize but we cannot accept checks or money orders for Payment Plan “D”

We will accept cash, checks or money orders from individuals who pay in advance at the beginning of the course. Checks and money orders should be made payable to: “Smooth and Easy”. All payments are non-refundable and only apply towards the current session.

Updating your SEZ profile and joining our mailing list

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support. As many of you know, our organization has been faced with many challenges. So, it has been wonderful to see that the SEZ family is still supportive and you will never know how much it is appreciated.

Although we continually strive to improve our communications with our SEZ Family, we have received a few complaints from individuals about not receiving our email messages. Note that we are using Constant Contact as our email database. This puts you in control of what lists you want to be on and what email address you want to use. This is in addition to our website and Facebook page. Keep in mind we cannot be held responsible for emails not received due to a block to constant contact, spam, or other filters.

Please include your cell phone number in the event we need to contact you personally. This will also be of great assistance in the future should we consider text messaging options. There will be a 30-minute ladies only segment conducted by Lisa and a 30-minute leaders only segment conducted by Brad. Come enhance your dance skills at the adult class. Smooth & EZ’s Fall Beginner, Intermediate and Saturday Advanced Hand Dance Classes Start Monday, September 12

A new partnership has been established between Smooth & EZ and Joe’s Movement Emporium for Hand Dance classes. Our new beginner class will start Monday, September 12.

Class costs remain unchanged; $10.00 per class and $8.00 for graduates. Be sure to visit our website (http://smoothnez.com) in the coming weeks to obtain information on completing the interactive Student Registration and class pricing. We look forward to seeing you September 12.

September 24 – Southwest Arts Festival at the Arena Stage

Join NHDA and Smooth & EZ on September 24 as they present the program “Hand Dance: The Dance of a City”. The program will consist of six presentations at (with a 30-minute break in between performances) 12:30, 1:30, 2:30, 3:30, 4:30 and 5:30 pm at Arena Stage (Rehearsal Hall Stage).

Beverly Lindsey and Lawrence Bradford will be sharing in the narration of the program. The Hand Dance performances will highlight classic, contemporary, and choreographed styles and include a basic lesson. SEZ will participate in the performances at 1:30, 2:30, 3:30 and 4:30 pm.

This event is FREE and open to the public so spread the word!

Beginning Monday, September 12, we will be offering our Monday and Wednesday Beginner, Intermediate and Saturday (Advanced) Hand Dance classes at Joe’s Movement Emporium, 3309 Bunker Hill Road, Mt. Rainer, MD.

To expedite the registration process, an Interactive Student Registration form will be available on our website prior to the start date. You will be ableo to complete this form at a computer, print it out, and bring it to class. Forms will also be available for completion on site. More details will be provided soon.
